The Wii Classic Controller.

The Wiimote, containing motion sensors and sound / vibration feedback in a unit small and light, is a technical marvel. But there are still millions of players who rightly want the feel and control provided by the device more traditional style. Nintendo responded to this need with the Classic Controller.

It contains many of the standard features: clearly marked A and B buttons, a four-way directional pad, two control rods analog, four face buttons and four shoulder buttons. Each load of game you describe how to use all the buttons and controls, so there is never any problem of adapting to each other. It also houses three control buttons to navigate the Wii menu system select, go home, and get.

The Classic Controller is light and easy to handle. The layout is organized, making it easy to learn and operate even for novice players. That fits very well with the reason overall design for the Wii: the ability of someone to create a Wii and start having fun with it immediately. The learning curve is very flat for this system and the Classic continues this theme.

There is a downside to the classic that is a little surprising: he can not play GameCube games. It is designed to be used with games offered through the provision of Nintendo, Virtual Console online. The Wii system can play any game GameCube, but that requires a GameCube controller.

Fortunately, this dilemma is easily overcome, thanks to four of the Wii ports that allow a number of controllers to be attached. For those who want the best in the legacy control style of play, Hori released a version of the Classic Controller who goes by the same name. It offers various controls and the structure is excellent.

The function of the Hori buttons are clearly marked a boomerang and is in line with many of the drivers that experienced players 'grew' with. It also offers easy to use options autofire. Anyone interested in using all the skills sweaty years of traditional games will want to check it out and out, and the Wii Classic Controller.
