What games are better on the DS and the Wii are better?

Looking for games for my kids for Christmas (girl / 8, boy / 6) and some who want me I'm not sure whether to buy them for the Wii or DS ... their advice at all? The games are: MySims Agent Mini Ninjas World Zoo also suggestions similar to games suitable for any console would be appreciated! Thank you! To clairfy - My children do not like Mario, they want the games listed. I'm just unsure as to that the games would be better on the DS (smaller screen) and games on the Wii would be better (larger screen, more interaction )........
