Duplicate CD with Key / Valve Steam games?

Hi guys, I bought warhammer DOW 2 from a second hand chop (Cex) and installed it until it says the key is repeated so anyway I went to the site of steam and prove that it was I who bought it and put it 'with proof photo. I have been wait two days and now i havent had an answer, not to take this long or as steam can get in contact via phone if this is possible? If I did not receive a response them by sab ill be taking it back anyway thanks for any help.

Give Steam a week. I had a similar problem with the game (not related Valve) called Guild Wars, where my CD key was apparently a duplicate. I sent an email with proof of purchase, picture, etc and ArenaNet called so. It took about a week until who responded and gave me a new CD key.
